May 2nd: Naples, FL.  Last month the V8 Stock Car Series ran the Sunoco Duels at Moroso Motorsports Park in West Palm Beach, FL. Saturday's Race 3 saw Jeff Emery on the Race Car Engineering pole. Emery led the first lap and a half and had a big off. Photos of the after math can be seen in the photo gallery. Lee Arnold and Bill Smtih had a great battle after the restart of the race. Arnold beat Smith by a nose. Sunday's race had Bill Smith as the fastest qualifier. He lead wire to wire for Sunday's Sunoco Race win.

V8SCRRS moved onto the next event to Savannah, GA at their Roebling Road Raceway for the Good Year Challenge. Saturday morning Lee Arnold captured the Amsoil pole for race 5. The first of the Good Year Races say Jeff Emery and Arnold swap the lead several times, with Emery taking the close win by 400s over Arnold. There were several other great battles throughout the field. On race 6, Emery started from the pole and took the race win, but had a good battle from Joe Hooker the whole way. Jim King won the Grand National Class both Saturday and Sunday in his sharp looking Jeff Burton 99 Exide car. Saturday night a Hooters party was thrown by Arnold Motorsports and Emery Motorsports. Thanks to the Hooter staff for coming out-a great time was had by all. Photos of the entire weekend are coming soon.
